Rina Lichtenwald was raised on a farm near Rockglen, Saskatchewan.  Rina studied organ from a young age and began teaching and performing in her home town.  She completed her Bachelor of Music from University of Regina in 2001, and has held Music Director positions at churches in Moose Jaw and Lethbridge.  She has enjoyed teaching, accompanying and performing in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Rina’s first baby, Colwyn, was born in 2007 and 17 months later Josephine was born.  Rina has spent a few years being primarily a mom.  Currently, Rina sings in Knox-Metropolitan Church choir, leads the Cherub Choir (ages 5 and under), and serves on the Future Planning Committee.  Rina’s new business, “Gypsy Mom Jewellery” is an exciting venture, as is her new position as Vice-President of the Regina Registered Music Teacher’s Association.  In her spare time, Rina is training for a triathlon and loves her runs around the lake.
